Daniel Simeonov was born and raised in Sliven, Bulgaria, Europe. In 2003 he moved to the United States and currently lives in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Daniel graduated from professional arts school in his hometown of Sliven in 1994, majoring in textiles. During this period he participated in many exhibitions and exposures, working hard in the field of painting and textiles.
He continued his education and graduated from Blagoevgrad University, Bulgaria with a Bachelor Degree in Painting and Sculpture.
Daniel paints in both oils and acrylics and has a distinctive painting style with strong, confident brush strokes and a masterful sense of color use and design. His works range from portraits, cityscapes, landscapes and still life.
The thing that motivates me is what I do to do most good, and to enjoy the moment when I reached the final stage and finish the painting.
I am inspired by everything around me, especially the beauty in the colors of the environment around me and the strange angles of the objects.
In my early years in the Art School I gained a lot of experience and knowledge of all techniques; oil and tempera paintings, textile engineering, graphics, sculpture and more.
I have participated in many workshops, expositions and exhibitions in Bulgaria.
Then I continued my education at the University with a degree in pedagogy in art, and I specialized sculptor and perspective and develop my skills in painting and participated in several joint exhibitions.
My favorites were oil paints but over time I found the acrylic technique and this inspired me to create several different styles pictures in recent years.
Recent I work in several directions: landscape, modern female faces in different colors, abstract paintings and still life.
I use a lot of saturated acrylic colors. In one of my paintings can be seen around fifty different shades, which creates a great contrast, with this I am trying to attract the attention of viewers. What distinguishes me from other artists are aggressive tones and contrasting colors.
My art paintings (female faces) are my favorite styles that continue to grow. They do not look as a typical portrait; they are slightly stylized and refracted through my characteristic way of work.
Exhibit my paintings in: COLLECTORS CAFE & GALLERY in Myrtle Beach, SC; ISLAND ART GALLERY in Pawleys island, SC; SPENCER ART GALLERY in Charleston, SC; AGORA GALLERY in New York.
My goals are: my paintings to be unique for the person who owns them, and every time to make him smile and feel good.
