Daniel Simeonov was born and raised in Sliven, Bulgaria, Europe. In 2003, he moved to the United States and currently lives in Myrtle Beach, SC. Daniel graduated from a professional arts school in his hometown of Sliven in 1994, majoring in textiles. During this period, he participated in many exhibitions and expositions, working hard in the fields of painting and textiles. He continued his education and graduated from Blagoevgrad University, Bulgaria, with a Bachelor's Degree in Painting and Sculpture.
Daniel paints in both oils and acrylics and has a distinctive painting style with strong, confident brush strokes and a masterful sense of color use and design. His works range from portraits, cityscapes, landscapes, and still life. The thing that motivates me the most is doing good and enjoying the moment when I reach the final stage and finish the painting. I am inspired by everything around me, especially the beauty of the colors in the environment and the unique angles of objects. In my early years at art school, I gained a lot of experience and knowledge in various techniques, such as oil and tempera painting, textile engineering, graphics, sculpture, and more. I have participated in many workshops, expositions, and exhibitions in Bulgaria.
... then I continued my education at the university with a degree in pedagogy in art, specializing in sculpture and perspective. I developed my skills in painting and participated in several joint exhibitions. My favorites were oil paints, but over time I discovered the acrylic technique, which inspired me to create several different styles of pictures in recent years. Recently, I have been working in several directions: landscape, modern female faces in different colors, abstract paintings, and still life. I use a lot of saturated acrylic colors. In one of my paintings, around fifty different shades can be seen, which creates a great contrast. With this, I try to attract the attention of viewers. What distinguishes me from other artists are aggressive tones and contrasting colors.
My paintings of female faces are my favorite style and continue to evolve. They do not look like typical portraits; they are slightly stylized and refracted through my unique artistic approach. I exhibit my paintings in various galleries, including COLLECTORS CAFE & GALLERY in Myrtle Beach, SC; ISLAND ART GALLERY in Pawleys Island, SC; SPENCER ART GALLERY in Charleston, SC; and AGORA GALLERY in New York. My goal is for my paintings to be unique for the person who owns them, making them smile and feel good every time they look at them.
Daniel Simeonov's artistry is a breath of fresh air in the contemporary art scene. His work captures the imagination and leaves a lasting impression. I am thrilled to collaborate with Daniel and introduce his incredible talent to a variety of galleries, where his unique vision can truly shine.
I strongly believe that the demand for an artist's work increases with the number of galleries showing an artist's work. That is why I am I co-cooperating with Daniel Simeonov to approach several galleries that should benefit showing his work.
